The Democrats we have in Congress are a disgrace to America. Whoever heard of a Congress to limit the President of the United States of America/ Commander in Chief who has done nothing but protect America and its citizens? Well, we have one now! The House of Representatives just passed a bill that is designed to take away President Trump’s ability to use any form of military action against Iran.
The only reason this bill passed is that the House if full of Democrats. This bill was a waste of taxpayers’ money and is strictly unconstitutional. The President of the United States has been given this authority to act as needed to defend our nation, and Democrats want to take Trump’s power away.
Iran was a threat decades ago, they are a threat now, and they will always be a threat until they are met with force. They are bullies, and we don’t like bullies.
The whole idea came when President Trump sent an American drone to take out General Solemani, a notorious terrorist who was on the top list of most wanted, dead or alive. The decision was met with great criticism from Never Trumpers and praised by his supporters.
Let’s face it, President Trump did what he had to do, and he had the best window of opportunity to take out Solemani. He did what Democrats could not and would not do, and he showed them up! So what is Trump’s thank you? A House vote 227 to 186, which passed the bill that states it will “terminate the use of the United States Armed Forces for hostilities against Iran unless Congress authorizes it.”
The move on Congress’ part is single-handedly putting America at risk, and it shows they only care about trying to attack the President over what America needs. As soon as it hits the President’s desk, he is expected to veto the bill, and neither the House or the Senate will have enough votes to override the President’s veto.
In a sense, this is no different than the witch hunt impeachment inquiries and trial. Democrats know there is not enough meat on the bone to make anything stick, but they do it anyway because they want to prove a point. The problem we have in America is the Democrats are doing it at our expense on tax dollars.
Our tax dollars go to paying Congress’ salary, and our money is being thrown away by the division the Democrats have caused. What makes it even worse is they are still trying to blame the division on President Trump.
The people in Congress need to realize the terrorist and the people who attack us from Iran are watching, and they know when to strike. They knew this bill was going to be voted on Wednesday, and they sent 15 missiles, which hit Camp Taji in Iraq. It was confirmed two US troops and one British soldier were killed in the attack.
This is the type of danger Democrats have put us in. Republican Representative Michael McCaul, who is on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, stated, “The resolution is based on a false promise.” He added, “It orders the President to terminate hostilities against Iran. The problem is, for the other side, we are not engaged in hostilities in Iran.” Technically Iran is in hostilities with the US.
Democrat House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel argued back, stating, “Congress doesn’t have to wait until the President alone decides to use military force again. Indeed, it’s our responsibility to do something. Because we know that tensions could flare up again at a moment’s notice, Iran has not been deterred as the administration promised.”
The problem lies with the Democrats in Congress PERIOD!!! The Trump administration has proven Solemani was going to attack 4 embassies and kill quite a few people. It is the Democrats who do not listen and have blown off any evidence the Trump administration had to offer. Intelligence proved the attacks from Solemani were “imminent.”
What more does the President need? In the Constitution, it clearly states, as the Commander in Cheif, the President has the right to attack anyone who poses a threat to the United States.
How much more of a threat do we have to have with Solemani? Democrats did not want to hear any of it. The White House issued a statement saying President Trump will veto the bill as it “fails to account for present reality.”
