Everyone who loves President Trump loved Sarah Sanders because of the hardcore truth. It was hard to see her leave her position for better things, but President Trump has found someone who filled her shoes very well. The new White House Secretary Stephanie Grisham may have Sanders beat as she has raised the bar even higher in recent days. Grisham has not only responded harshly to reporters in the press room but has also fiercely gone after the President’s worse critics. We can check out some of her responses and be proud of her just like we were of Sarah Sanders.
Former Chief of Staff John F. Kelly warned her about President Trump hiring “yes men.” Stephanie Grisham did not bat an eye. She was not afraid to confront a journalist who interviewed her about the four stars Marine General by saying, “I worked with John Kelly, and he was totally unequipped to handle the genius of our great President.”
President Trump threw out massive tweets concerning “Never Trump” Republicans over the last few weeks. The worst ones were about Senator Mitt Romney, who stirred up the GOP trying to turn them against the president. Grisham was asked about the tweets and how she felt about what was said. She called them “human scum.” Elaborating further, she added, “The people who are against him, and who have been against him, and have been working against him since the day they took office are just that.”
When William Taylor, who was a career diplomat, a Vietnam Veteran, and a U.S. Military Academy graduate, testified last week against President Trump in the impeachment inquiries, she blasted him in a statement to the press. She called the inquires and Taylor as “a coordinated smear campaign from far-left lawmakers and radical unelected bureaucrats waging war on the Constitution.” Grisham did not hold anything back.
Grisham took to Twitter and slammed CNN on releasing undercover videos of their employees earlier in the month, she slammed the media as though it came directly from the president. She wrote, “CNN’s corporate leaders have failed the American people. They have also failed their own employees.”
When she took Sanders’ place in July, she stated, “The sharp-tongued commentary is all part of the job. It is literally my job to support and defend the President, so it is odd to me that I am being asked to defend or explain ‘comments in support’ of my boss.” She added, “Previous press secretaries have also used [strong language], so again, not sure why I am being singled out here.”
Grisham went down the list and gave examples all the way back to former President Bill Clinton’s press secretary and administration. She stated, “President Bill Clinton’s press secretary, Dee Dee Myers, once called her boss ‘a genius’ for his ability to absorb and synthesize information. Clinton’s communications adviser, George Stephanopoulos, also referred to Clinton as ‘Secretariat’ because he was a ‘thoroughbred’ as a campaigner. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, once said, ‘I think he [Obama] is the smartest guy that I’ve ever worked with or known.” If they can give praises to their bosses for as bad as they were, then Grisham should have the right to speak up for the president just as her predecessor did so well. But the media hates the truth, and they hate the president.
In many ways, Grisham has echoed President Trump’s statements while firing off and holding her own very well. She is not afraid to take on the Democrats in their “witch hunt.” Recently she put out a statement, “The process as an illegitimate sham and a scam. The House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam B. Schiff repeatedly lies, and the House was taking secret, shady, closed-door depositions from witnesses.” She called them out exactly how it went down and slammed the Democrats for what they are, liars.
One of Bill Clinton’s press secretary Joe Lockhart stated, “It’s off the deep end. I think her comment [about John Kelly] was instructive because it suggests [she’s] shifted from a traditional communications person to a cult-of-personality propagandist.” He added, “Up until this president, the press secretary’s job was to balance the interests of the president and the interests of the press. Some did it well, some poorly, but everyone tried to do it. They don’t try. I’ve never seen people like this in our country.” Likewise, we have never seen people like the Democrats of today who wish to destroy America from within.
